Summary:

20th Century Boys Synopsis: Being an adult, with its responsibilities, burdens, and difficulties, is not easy. Endou Kenji just tried to fulfill his responsibilities as the breadwinner in the family to support the mother and daughter of his missing sister, so much so that he seemed to forget the beautiful dreams and ambitions he once had. Until one day everything changes, starting with the strange death of a childhood friend and leading to strange events that end with a symbol that he and his friends created. The memories come back with a feeling of dread as the children's fairy tale turns into a nightmare for mankind. It was under those circumstances that Kenji and his friends made the choice they had agreed to since their school days: "We will protect the world together." It is like an inadequate answer to the question, "I don't know if we are adults, so we wish to return to those days or we would laugh when we see us now." 20th Century Boys is not only a story about a war; it is also a series of human philosophies.
